Testimony from client - wardrobe edit session carried out on 22nd May 2016
I thought it would be nice to post a testimony I received today from a client I visited last at the weekend to carry out a wardrobe weeding session. It's always rewarding to get feedback from clients and to hear how you have helped them and sorted out any niggles they may have had with regard to their personal style.
This weekend's client says "-
'I first saw Maria some months ago for a colour analysis as I had become stuck with what colours suited me and despite having loads of clothes I didn't have anything to wear when it came to going out!
On the day of my consultation I was welcomed with a lovely smile and a cup of coffee as I sat and listened to Maria as she told me what sort of skin tone I was and what sort of colours would suit me. The real revelation came when Maria showed me the colour swatches that suited me as she placed them on my shoulders/décolleté area ...well I was speechless as I saw colour after colour that lit my face up and made my eyes pop - colours that I would never imagined of wearing!
Later we went shopping with a budget in mind - I wanted to buy a dress, a pair of trousers and a top. With my colour swatches in hand I found it easier in selecting and choosing items and I'm pleased to say that I bought my 3 items and was even within my budget!
After a while I decided to ask Maria to help me do a wardrobe edit which meant that she came to me and went through all my clothes and helped me decide what to keep and not keep and what fitted well etc. She reorganised my clothes (and shoes!) into sections - smart, day, casual etc.
The feeling of relief I had after it had been done, I cannot explain... It surpassed my embarrassment as she never judged me (thank goodness).
Looking at my newly arranged cupboard and wardrobe I smile as it is so much easier to find things and I also have found it less stressful when deciding what to wear.
So Maria Hastings thank you so much for helping me and being a true professional and to anyone who is in a style rut I would say "do it!" You won't regret it." - Mrs R Baljeet - Berks
